CANDLE SAFETY:

SPIR ~ Eucalyptus + Lemon Verbena + Spearmint

Spir , The Latin word for "breathe", where it has the meaning "breathe; have a longing for. '' This meaning is found in such words as: aspire, conspire, expire, inspire, perspire, respiration, respiratory, respire, spiracle, spirit, transpire.

This light yet bold of freshness comes from the cooling sensations from this candle when lit.  The act of breathing is natural and spontanious, so give it something to hold onto; a  reason and a rhyme. That reason can come in many forms — a song, a kind text, a smile from a stranger. Take a deep breath and imagine yourself sitting alone as a warm breeze washes over you. Feels nice doesn’t it?

There is a certain specialness to these candles, as they are mixed, made, and packaged by a dedicated - one.

For me, there is a characteristic touch and a story behind each item I curate. My items draw on the experiences that took place in my life that I love to reminisce on and share with you.

All are named after creatives, monuments, and experiences. Each luxury item serves as encouragement to continue to reflect and reminisce on all important and monumental times in your life's (hers) or history.

Please be aware these are handmade by me, so there may be natural variation in color. Also please note that all of the wax melts and candles are made from soy beeswax blend which may show signs of natural frosting, but this does not affect their wonderful scent.

Each time you burn your candle, burn it for 2-4 hours. This will not only maximize the fragrance throw, but also help avoid "tunneling," where the candle burns down the middle, leaving wax around the edges. Trim the wick to one-quarter inch each time the candle is lit.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep.

Light candles carefully. Keep your hair and any loose clothing away from the flame.

Don't place a burning candle near clothing, books, curtains or anything flammable.

Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans and any air currents.

Place candle holders on a stable, heat-resistant surface that is sturdy and large enough to catch any melted wax.

Extinguish a candle if the flame gets too close to the candle holder or container.

Place burning candles at least 3 inches apart from one another.

A burning candle should not be used as a nightlight.

Don’t burn a candle all the way down. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains in the container.
